Our riders are the reason our charity exists.

A small, locally focused, charity.
We are a small and financially separate charity, affiliated to the national Riding for the Disabled Association. This affiliation allows us to use the same equestrian therapy principles for people in the East Cambridgeshire area.
Who are our riders?
Currently our riding therapy is provided for students at two local schools who specialise in providing education for young people who have additional needs. Many have sensory, physical or communication difficulties and may also be on the autistic spectrum.

We do not currently offer places for anyone outside these two educational establishments. If your need is for someone older, or outside these two schools, then please visit https://rda.org.uk. This is the national organisation to whom we are affiliated. They can direct you to a group who can hopefully cater for your specific needs.

Where are we based?
We are amazingly lucky to have Old Tiger Stables at North Angle Farm in Soham as hosts and to be able to use their brand new facilities and ponies, each Tuesday morning (in school term time).
What do we do?
Once introduced and safely mounted on their pony, our young riders do various tasks designed to help them develop confidence, sometimes core strength, and basic riding skills amongst other things. These are presented as fun exercises, such as collecting a toy from one stand and putting it on another.
The riders have new skills introduced according to their confidence and physical capabilities.
